UOMAWhen you think that just one litre of waste oil can contaminate one million litres of ground water, the only logical thing to do is encourage people to make sure that every drop of waste oil, every filter and every contaminated container be taken to a Drop-Off Centre so that they are disposed of properly. The Used Oil Management Association (UOMA) is a non-profit organization created to meet the requrirements of the Regulation respecting the recovery and reclamation of used oils, used oil and fluid containers, and used filters. UOMA is recognized by RECYC-QUÉBEC as an organization authorized to introduce an integrated program of recovery and reclamation for all applicable products, as well as a user information and awareness program. Thank you to all auto shops and municipalities that accept to act as a Drop-Off Centre and offer this service AT NO COST to citizens.
